Your Child's Safety Matters
Creating a safe environment for children is one of our highest priorities.
When you arrive, our Life Kids team will welcome you at our main check-in desk located in the school foyer. We’ll help create your child’s profile, answer questions, and guide you to the correct classroom.
Safety Measures Include:
- Secure matching parent-child check-in tags
- Text notification if you’re needed during service
- Carefully screened, interviewed, trained, and background-checked volunteers*
- Rule of Three policy (leaders are never alone with a child)
- Security cameras throughout classrooms and hallways
- Clearly established classroom procedures and supervision standards
- Parent instructions honored for nursery and early childhood care
You’ll use the same matching tag to pick up your child after service.
Only you leave with your child.
*Every Life Kids volunteer is carefully screened, interviewed, trained, and background checked before serving. CLC goes beyond Pennsylvania's standard requirements by utilizing enhanced background screening procedures for everyone serving with children.

Programs for Each Stage
A Place for Every Stage
Nursery (6 Weeks–2 Years)
A loving and nurturing environment where our youngest children are cared for by trained volunteers.
Children enjoy age-appropriate play while being introduced to God’s love through worship music, Bible stories, and caring relationships. Parents are encouraged to leave any bottles, snacks, diaper bags, or special instructions with our team so we can care for each child according to their needs.
Preschool (Ages 3–5)
Preschoolers learn through play, creativity, worship, and interactive Bible teaching.
Each week includes:
- Hands-on activity centers
- Crafts and creative learning
- Puppets and storytelling
- Interactive worship
- Bible lessons designed specifically for preschool minds
Our goal is to help children begin building a foundation of faith while having a great time with friends.
Elementary (Kindergarten–5th Grade)
Elementary students experience energetic worship, exciting games, strong biblical teaching, and small groups where they can ask questions and build relationships.
Each service includes:
- Kids worship
- Interactive teaching
- Fun activities and games
- Small group discussions
- Real-life application of God’s Word
We want children to understand the Bible, develop meaningful friendships, and discover how to live out their faith every day.
Every Child Deserves to Belong
We believe every child is uniquely created by God and deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and experience His love.
Our Special Needs Ministry is available during the 10:00 AM Sunday service and provides individualized support through trained volunteers who work one-on-one with children when needed.
Team members receive specialized training through Awe & Wonder and partner closely with parents to understand each child’s unique strengths, challenges, and needs.
Our goal is to create an environment where every child can participate, learn, build relationships, and feel welcomed as part of the Life Kids family.

Life Kids is more than a Sunday morning experience.
Throughout the year, children have opportunities to grow spiritually, build friendships, discover their gifts, and create memories they’ll never forget.
Wednesday Nights
Discipleship Clubs
Kids participate in engaging discipleship experiences that help them apply biblical truths in practical ways. Past clubs have included cooking, creative projects, and hands-on learning experiences.
Life Kids Summer
Summer combines discipleship with exciting themed nights including Nerf battles, fort-building, Christmas in July, movie nights, water activities, bubble nights, and more.
Beginning in July, children also begin learning Junior Bible Quiz questions in preparation for the upcoming JBQ season.
Christmas Musical
Each fall, children participate in our annual Christmas Musical, where they learn songs, drama, teamwork, and worship while preparing for a special Christmas production.
More than a performance, the musical helps children develop confidence, build friendships, discover their gifts, and learn how God can use their talents to encourage others and serve Him.
Vacation Bible School
One of the highlights of the year at Life Kids is Vacation Bible School.
During one week of every summer, children enjoy VBS as a high-energy week filled with engaging Bible lessons, worship, games, activities, crafts, and unforgettable memories. Children experience God’s love in a fun and exciting environment while building friendships and learning biblical truths that stay with them long after the week is over.
Whether your child is already part of Life Kids or visiting CLC for the first time, Vacation Bible School is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends, have fun, and discover more about Jesus. Junior Bible Quiz
Building a Strong Foundation in God’s Word
Designed for children in 2nd–5th grade, Junior Bible Quiz is a program that encourages and rewards children for their dedication to studying God’s Word through Scripture memorization, friendly competition, interactive learning, and achievement-based recognition.
Running from August through January on Sundays from 9:00-10:00 AM, JBQ teaches children foundational truths about God, salvation, prayer, Christian living, and biblical doctrine.
In addition to the fun competition, it’s an opportunity for children to build confidence in God’s Word and carry biblical truth with them for life.
Missions
Life Kids actively participates in BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge) on the 3rd Sunday of each month, helping children develop a heart for missions, generosity, and reaching people around the world with the love of Jesus.

Important Family & Faith Milestones
Child Dedications
Child dedication is a special opportunity for parents to publicly dedicate their child to the Lord, commit to raising them in a Christ-centered home, and invite the church family to partner with them through prayer and support.
Before the dedication, parents meet with Pastor Robyn to learn more about its meaning and their role in nurturing their child’s faith.
Dedications are offered throughout the year. Check our Events page for upcoming dates and registration.
Children's Baptism
When a child makes a personal decision to follow Jesus, water baptism is an important next step in their faith journey.
Children ages 8 and older begin by registering for baptism and attending CLC’s regular Baptism Class. Pastor Robyn will then connect with the child and their parent or guardian to discuss their decision, answer questions, and help them prepare for baptism.

Life Kids serves children as young as 6 weeks through 5th grade.
On your first visit, stop by the Life Kids check-in desk located in the east wing (school foyer). Our team will help create your child's profile, answer any questions, provide matching tags for pick-up, and guide you to the correct classroom. Future visits can be completed through our self-service check-in kiosks.
Yes. If you're needed during service, we'll send you a text message.
Yes. All Life Kids volunteers complete enhanced screening above and beyond the PA standard requirements and are also trained by CLC staff before serving.
Yes. Our Special Needs Ministry offers individualized support during the 10:00 AM service through trained volunteers who have received specialized Awe & Wonder training.
Please bring any bottles, snacks, diapers, or special instructions you'd like our team to follow.
We'll ask about allergies, medical concerns, and special accommodations during check-in so we can care for your child appropriately and communicate any important information to our team.
