A Place to Belong and Become

We believe God has an incredible purpose for every student, and our mission is to help them discover it. The teenage years are full of questions about identity, friendship, faith, and the future. At Fearless Students, we create an environment where students are known, encouraged, challenged, and loved.

Dynamic High School

Fearless High School, also known within our student ministry as Dynamic, is where high school students come together for worship, relevant biblical teaching, friendships, prayer, and plenty of fun. Students are challenged to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus and live out their faith with courage and purpose.

What to Expect

Every gathering combines fun and community with live worship, biblical teaching, prayer, and opportunities for students to respond to what God is doing in their lives. Students don’t have to have everything figured out before they walk through our doors. They simply need to come as they are.

A Friendly Welcome0

Students are greeted by leaders and other students who are excited to meet them and help them get connected.

Hang Out0

During designated times students have opportunities to talk, laugh, enjoy games, build friendships, and spend time together.

Worship0

Every gathering begins with live worship led by students and leaders, creating space for students to encounter God personally.

Message0

A practical, Bible-centered message that is relevant and speaks directly to the questions and challenges students are actually facing.

Prayer and Response0

Students are encouraged to respond to what God is doing through times of prayer, ministry, and personal reflection. Leaders are available to encourage and pray with them.

After Service0

Students stick around to talk, meet new people, and connect with leaders before heading home.

Walking into a new student ministry can feel intimidating, so our team is ready to help your student feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.

Experiences Students Never Forget

Events Throughout The Year

The Fearless Christmas Formal is a special night where students can dress up, gather with friends, and celebrate the Christmas season together.

Each year includes great food, entertainment, photos, laughter, and plenty of time to simply have fun and make memories with friends. Students are encouraged to dress their best and enjoy a night that feels a little different from the usual weekly gathering while still having all the fun and community they love about Fearless.

FINE ARTS OPPORTUNITIES

Discover Your God-Given Gifts

Fine Arts is an optional discipleship program that helps students discover and develop the gifts God has given them.

Each year, students spend several months over the winter preparing with coaches and leaders in areas such as:

  • Worship
  • Instrumental Music
  • Vocal Performance
  • Drama
  • Dance
  • Photography
  • Filmmaking
  • Graphic Design
  • Creative Writing
  • Spoken Word
  • Preaching
  • Bible Teaching
  • Visual Arts
  • Human Video
  • Puppetry
  • and many other creative categories.

Students can participate individually or as part of a group.

Throughout the season, students meet regularly with coaches who encourage them and help them grow–not only in their abilities, but also in their confidence and faith.

The season typically begins in the fall with sign ups around September or October, and culminates in the annual PennDel Fine Arts Festival each spring. Students present what they’ve prepared alongside hundreds of other students from churches throughout the district. Those who qualify may have the opportunity to continue to the National Fine Arts Festival typically held in the summer.

For many students, Fine Arts becomes one of the most meaningful parts of their spiritual journey. It’s not about winning a competition – it’s about discovering that God can use their gifts to make a difference.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Serve & Lead

One of the best ways students grow is by putting their faith into action. Rather than simply attending, students are encouraged to get involved, discover their gifts, and begin making a difference in the lives of others.

Whether it’s leading worship, helping with production, welcoming new students, participating in Fine Arts, or serving in other ministry opportunities, students discover that God can use them right now – not just someday.

Serving builds confidence, develops leadership, teaches responsibility, and cultivates a heart for others. As students become active members of the church family, they’re building a faith that lasts well beyond their years in Fearless Students.

Helping Students Take Their Next Step

One of our greatest desires is to help students build a faith that lasts long after high school. Fearless Students isn’t just about creating great weekly gatherings – it’s about helping students develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus and preparing them to become active members of the church.

As students grow, we encourage them to take meaningful next steps by knowing God more deeply, building authentic relationships, discovering how God has uniquely gifted them, and learning to make a difference in the lives of others.

Know God

Faith becomes personal as students encounter Jesus through worship, biblical teaching, prayer, and everyday discipleship. Our desire is for every student to build a relationship with God that continues long after they leave home.

Find Community

God never intended us to grow alone. Students build lasting friendships while connecting with trusted leaders who encourage, challenge, and walk alongside them as they grow in their faith.

Discover Your Purpose

Every student has unique gifts, talents, and influence. We help students discover how God has created them and encourage them to begin using those gifts to serve others and build His Kingdom.

Make a Difference

Following Jesus changes the way we live. As students mature in their faith, they're encouraged to lead by example, serve others with humility, and make a lasting impact wherever God places them.

Ready to Take the Next Step?

If your student has made the decision to follow Jesus, baptism is an exciting opportunity to publicly declare their faith.

Students in 6th–12th grade attend the same Baptism Class as adults at CLC, then meet with Pastor Michael, where they’ll talk through their decision, ask questions, and discuss what to expect on baptism day.

After completing the class, students can register to be baptized during one of our upcoming baptism services.

Parents, We're Glad You're Here Too

We know parents want more than a fun environment. You want to know that your student is safe, known, spiritually supported, and surrounded by people who care.

We make every effort to connect personally with first-time students and their families so no one feels like they’re navigating alone.

Our leaders are committed to partnering with families by creating a healthy environment where students can grow spiritually while parents stay informed and connected.

Peace of Mind

Our ministry leaders are carefully selected, trained, and committed to creating a healthy environment where students are known, encouraged, and cared for.

All adult leaders serving with Fearless Students complete background checks and are equipped to help students grow spiritually while building positive, Christ-centered relationships.

FAQs

Fearless Students is for students in 6th–12th grade.

Absolutely! Friends are always welcome and we actually encourage students to bring a friend.

Fearless Students meet in the CLC Student Center, located in the youth building on the southeast side of the church parking lot.

Our leaders will welcome them, help them get connected, and introduce them to other students so they don't have to walk in alone.

Yes. Students with special needs are welcome and typically participate alongside other middle and high school students in our regular gatherings. If you have questions about your student's individual needs or how we can best welcome them, please contact our team before your first visit. You can fill out the Schedule Your Visit form and let us know your needs in the comments.

Sign up for the Fearless Students Weekly Newsletter, follow us on Instagram, and check the events page for upcoming gatherings and special events.

If your student has decided to follow Jesus and is ready to be baptized, they’ll follow the same baptism process as adults at CLC. Start by  visiting the Water Baptism page and register to attend the regular Baptism Class. During or after the class, students in 6th–12th grade will also meet with Pastor Michael to talk through their decision, answer any questions, and prepare for baptism.

There are lots of ways for students to get involved beyond the weekly gathering. Students can participate in Fine Arts, attend Rise Conference, Summer Camp, Youth Convention, and other special events throughout the year, or begin using their gifts to serve within the ministry.

Students who want to become part of Fearless Student Leadership first complete our four-week Student Leadership training program. This helps prepare them spiritually and practically to serve, lead, and positively influence others within Fearless Students. They can learn more about this opportunity by asking the youth pastor directly.
