Baptism is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus and a celebration of the new life you’ve received through Him. Going under the water represents leaving your old life behind, and coming out of the water represents the new life you now have in Christ. It’s a way of saying, “I’ve decided to follow Jesus, and I’m not turning back.”
What to Expect
At CLC, your first step toward water baptism is attending a Baptism Class. We’ll help you understand the meaning of baptism, answer your questions, and walk you through everything you need to know so you feel prepared for the day.
Water baptisms take place during select Sunday services throughout the year. You’ll be baptized by being fully immersed in water, surrounded by your church family, friends, and loved ones who get to celebrate this important moment with you.
